Project Manager
This is an excellent opportunity for people looking to get their feet wet in politics and gain a behind-the-scenes understanding of campaigns. Some of our notable political clients include Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Republican State Leadership Committee, and many other Republican campaigns and associations. This position will also allow you to gain experience in the planning and execution of public affairs campaigns through our sister company, LINK Public Affairs.
Responsibilities:
- Copywriting and Concept Creation:
- Collaborate closely with our seasoned political and public affairs teams to develop compelling copy and innovative concepts.
- Create content for various voter outreach methods including direct mail, digital advertisements, text campaigns, and other voter and consumer contact initiatives.
- Research Support:
- Conduct in-depth research on a range of topics, including issues, companies, political campaigns, and congressional districts across the United States.
- Summarize and present findings to assist the team in making informed decisions and strategies.
- Voter Targeting and Contact Plans:
- Learn and understand the methodologies for targeting specific voter and consumer demographics.
- Contribute to the development and execution of voter and consumer contact plans, ensuring they are strategic and effective.
- Digital Support:
- Assist the Digital Director with various digital tasks such as copywriting, content planning, and campaign execution.
- Stay updated with digital trends and tools to enhance the effectiveness of our online campaigns.
- Client Management:
- Coordinate and schedule client calls, ensuring timely communication and meeting arrangements.
- Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and provide necessary support to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
- Proposal Drafting and Editing:
- Assist in drafting and editing client proposals to ensure they are clear, persuasive, and tailored to client needs.
- Work closely with the team to incorporate feedback and refine proposals for submission.
Ideal Candidate:
- Understanding of U.S. Politics and Government: A solid grasp of the political landscape, governmental structures, and current issues facing our nation.
- Relevant Experience: Previous entry-level experience in political, public affairs, or campaign roles is highly desirable. This could include volunteering, internships, or other hands-on involvement in related fields.
- Exceptional Writing and Communication Skills: Proficient writing, impeccable grammar, and keen proofreading abilities are essential. Your words will shape our campaigns and resonate with voters.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and excellence in all tasks, from research to content creation.
- Deadline-Driven: Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you can work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Project Management Skills: Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously, you excel at prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to ensure all deadlines are met.
